Palace of Wheels Programs – Year 2020-21

Note:

• All costs are in USD
• 10% surcharge is applicable during Christmas and New Year departures.
• Goods & Service Tax (GST) will be charged extra as per the Government Rule.
• 50% of the prevailing tariff will be charged for the children between 05-12 years of age
• 10% of the prevailing tariff will be charged for the children below 05 years.

Inclusions

• The tariff is inclusive of cost of travel, accommodation, all meals, sightseeing tours, entrance fee (excluding video camera fee) for monuments & palaces, entertainment, camel ride at Jaisalmer (Sam Sand Dunes), Jeep Safari at Ranthmabhore, boat ride at Udaipur (Lake Pichola) and rickshaw ride at Bharatpur bird sanctuary.

Exclusions

• Tariff does not include Liquor, Tips, Laundry services, Telephone calls, Video camera fees, Business car facilities and any other items of personal nature.
• The above Tariff is subject to change without notice.
  Goods & Service Tax (GST) is subject to change as per the government of India directives.

Booking Policy:

• 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
• Remaining 80% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure date.

Cancellation Policy:

• 10% of ticket value 90 days or more prior to departure date.
• 20% of ticket value between 89 to 30 days prior to departure date.
• 100% of ticket value 29 days prior to departure date.

No show/ En route termination of tour/amendment:

• No Show - In case of No Show / Non-arrival of the guest, no refund or adjustment in future travel will be possible. The whole amount shall be treated as forfeited.
• En route termination of tour - In case of termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons no refund or adjustment for future travel will be possible. The amount for unused portion of the tour shall be treated as forfeited.

Amendment - Is only possible under the circumstances like Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problem's (this needs to be supported by doctor's certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds are possible and every case will be decided on merits on a case to case basis. No amendment will be permissible in case of booking of groups or complete train.

Delhi to Delhi - (7 Nights/8 Days)

Delhi - Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur - Chittorgarh - Udaipur - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Bharatpur - Agra - Delhi

  (Wednesday) - Delhi

Embark on your royal journey on the Palace on Wheels from Delhi Safdurjangrailway station at 1830hrs. Warm welcome to its guests in a traditional style.
Enjoy dinner on board

  (Thursday) - Jaipur

Arrive in Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. Visit eminent attractions of the land like Albert Hall Museum, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort.
Lunch at 1135 AD which is located in the premises of Amber fort
Return to Palace on Wheels at around 18:30 hrs.
Dinner on board.

  (Friday) - Sawai Madhopur

The train arrives Sawai Madhopur in the morning. Enjoy early morning jungle safari in the best part of Ranthambore National Park. After safari, return to the train and enjoy breakfast as the train chugs along to Chittorgarh

Lunch is served during the journey.

Arrive Chittorgarharound 1500hrs Explore the beautiful Chittorgarh Fort which still resonate the stories of Rajputana bravery.Post exploration of Chittorgarh Fort, enjoy the high tea at the restaurant followed by sound and light program at the fort at 1800hrs.
Return to the train and dinner on board. Train to halt at Chittorgarh to-night.

  (Saturday) - Udaipur

Post breakfast disembark train for the city tour of Udaipur. Visit Saheliyonki Bari, City Palace, Crystal Gallery
Lunch at FatehprakshPalace.
Post lunch enjoy the boat ride on Lake Pichola to reach Jag Mandir Palace for high tea. Return to Palace on Wheels. Dinner on board

  (Sunday) - Jaisalmer

Palace on wheels arrives in the golden city – Jaisalmer. Disembark and proceed for the city tour visiting Gadisar Lake, Nathmal ji ki Haveli, Patwonki Haveli, Jaisalmer Fort and Heritage City Walk.
Return to the train for lunch on board .
Post lunch, you will be taken to enjoy camel safari at sand dunes.Tea is served after safari before returning to Palace on Wheels.
After a brief rest, you will be taken to Gorbandh Palace for dinner with live cultural program.
Return to Palace ion Wheels by midnight.

  (Monday) - Jodhpur

The Train arrives Jodhpur railway station in the morning and a sumptuous breakfast is served at 0730hrs. Today you will be taken to explore the famous Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada and if time permits, shopping at the local market.

Lunch at a luxurious Ajit Bhawan Palace. Return to train.

The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the amenities and facilities inside the train. The train will start its onward journey to Bharatpur.
Dinner on board.

  (Tuesday) - Bharatpur - Agra

Palace on Wheels will reach Bharatpur early in the morning. You will be taken out on an early excursion to Keoladeo National Park also known as “Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary” for a rickshaw safari. It is a heaven for bird watchers and see the 380 resident and migrant species of birds.
After safari, return to the train.
Enjoy the relaxing breakfast on board
As you dine, the train will start its journey towards - Agra. The train reaches the marble paradise by 1100hrs and you will be taken on an excursion immediately from Agra Cantt railway station.
Visit to Agra fort for exploration.

Lunch will be served at Deluxe hotel.

Post lunch visit to Taj Mahal for exploration and sightseeing. The rest of the day until 18:00 is dedicated to shopping. After shopping, get back to the Palace on Wheels.

Dinner on board as Palace on Wheels starts its final leg of the journey towards Delhi late in the evening.

  (Wednesday) - Delhi

Palace on Wheels reaches Delhi Safdarjung railway station early morning . The breakfast will be served by 0600hrs in the morning and checkout formalities starts by 0730hrs.
Upon completion of formalities, bid farewell to Palace on Wheels
